About Brandie Wilson

Brandie received her masters in Sociology from Humboldt State in 2009. Her focus has been in community organizing and equality. Brandie currently lives in Humboldt County and serves on the board of the EMMA center, a holistic healing center for women who have been affected by trauma. Brandie also is the co-founder of Humboldt Area Center for Harm Reduction (HACHR), an organization focused on bringing services and harm reduction to the Humboldt Community. For the past eight years she has deeply entrenched herself in the discussion of gender and the underground world of the marijuana industry of Humboldt County. Brandie has also been directly affected by the inhumane war on people numerous times. The desire to create a safer world for us all is the driving force behind everything she does.
