Jess Cochrane is a third-year student at Northeastern University School of Law and a Master’s in Public Health candidate at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. She is an alumna of AmeriCorps NYC Community HealthCorps, and president and co-founder of the SSDP chapter at Northeastern University School of Law. In 2013, Jess completed her MPH capstone, “Mandated Reporting of Substance-Exposed Newborns in an Era of Changing Marijuana Laws,” under the supervision of National Advocates for Pregnant Women. She is co-founder of Family Law & Cannabis Alliance (FLCA), an online clearinghouse for information on family courts, mandated reporting, and child protective services in the context of recent changes to marijuana laws at the state and local levels.
