It’s that time of the year again — it’s the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival! This year’s festival kicked off on Friday, April 17th, 2015 and will run through Friday, April 25th, 2015, hosted at various venues across the city of brotherly love.
While many exciting films, including the horror film Grateful Dead and the drama offering The Tailor’s Apprentice were screened on Friday, April 17th, many more exciting films are slated to be screened this week as well! Tonight, for example, the experimental drama film Nesting Grounds will run. For a full list of films that will be screened throughout the eight days of the festival, click here!
To make things easier for locals and festival fans who want to view specific films, the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival has expanded their ticketing process to include Facebook ticket purchases! By following this link, interested parties can easily buy tickets securely for the upcoming showings over the next week, streamlining the process substantially. Pre-sold tickets will be released back for public purchase 10 minutes prior to screening times; make sure to call ahead to the venue if you purchased a ticket but are running late!
For those who want an all-access pass instead of tickets to single showings, the 2015 All Access Festival Pass will get viewers into any showing at any venue, and will also grant the holder access to discussion panels, workshops, non-screening events, and other happenings during the eight days of the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival. Tickets for individual screenings may also be purchased at the venues on the day of the event.
