UPDATE: While the Indiegogo campaign is closed after raising $130,888, MAPS is still accepting donations toward this legalization push. Although the campaign perks are no longer available, those wishing to support this excellent organization can donate by following this link. They also accept Bitcoin donations.

Today is the last day to contribute to the Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign by the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) to fund their efforts to legalize the therapeutic use of psychedelic medicines.

The campaign has been a rousing success so far, reaching its modest $50,000 goal within 16 days of launching their campaign. At the time of this article’s publication, the campaign had raised over $126,000 dollars.

The funds being raised will be used to provide ongoing funding for MAPS, their studies on the effectiveness of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for post-traumatic stress disorder and their efforts to legalize MDMA-assisted therapy by 2021.

There are some excellent perks, including hardcover editions of Tom Shroder’s Acid Test: LSD, Ecstasy, And the Power to Heal , a brass pendant of the MAPS ‘hands” logo, and signed art printed by Nicholas Blackston.

Click here to donate and help fund the research, education, and lobbying efforts for real reform that MAPS is actively engaged in on an ongoing basis.
