Drug Policy Alliance Announces Legalization Status Report

Six months have passed since Colorado’s law legalizing cannabis for adult recreational use went into effect, and people all around the world are wondering what kind of real-world impact the new law has had on the state of Colorado.

The Drug Policy Alliance announced on Tuesday that they will be holding  a press teleconference on Thursday, June 26th, 2014, at 11am MT/1pm ET. Policy makers confirmed for the teleconference include Art Way, Steven Gutwillig, and Sharda Sekaran of the DPA,  as well as Tony Ryan from Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, Colorado State Representative Johnathon Singer, and several cannabis industry insiders.
